Cockatiel Does Not Have Leg Band. Cockatiel AZ Animals My cockatiel, Sunny had his band on his leg his whole life (he was 20) with no issue but it was also a closed band Most of the time it doesn't seem to bug him too much.

I too have never had to have a band removed and 8 of my birds have leg bands I often wish to know more about their history and lives but am often limited by what little info I may be able to glean from past people
